Go to Settings > Account tab > API key, click Disconnect and click Save changes.

Now try activating the NowButtons connection again.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Let's see if it is a caching issue

Open your website in your browser and add a random parameter to the url. For example: ?cached=false. So the whole URL would look something like this:

    https://www.website.com/?cached=false

Is the button appearing? It's a caching issue, continue with step 2.
Still no button? Then it's not a caching problem. Continue with step 4.

  2. Does your website use an optimization plugin?

You might be looking at a cached version of your website. Empty the cache of your optimization plugin and reload the page.

Still not appearing? Go to step 3.

  3. Your browser might be caching the website

Open private or incognito mode in your browser and load your website. Do you see the button now? If you do, your browser has cached your website and it's showing you an old copy. Clear your browser's cache to fix the issue.

  4. Is your button set to appear on the screen size you're checking?

Your button might be set to only appear on desktop or mobile screens. Open the button in the button editor and open the Visibility tab. Look for the Display on setting and make sure it set to the correct screensizes.

  5. Are there Display rules blocking the button from showing?

Your button might have Display rules set up to target the pages where the button should or should not appear. Review your display rules. Open the button in the button editor and open the Visibility tab. Look for the Display rules and review the rules that have been created. Should it appear on the page you're looking at?

  6. You've tried all the stepped described above and still no button?
